Weekend Recap

With Jack back, this weekend was infinitely more exciting than the past few weekends I’ve spent (mostly) alone. Instead of watching The Tudors and 24 on Netflix Instant and winding my way through various books, I actually got out of town!

Here’s what we accomplished:

• Observed adorable baby deer grazing by the side of the road. Cute x 1,000,000,000!
• Lunch at Fredericksburg Brewing Company
• Browsing and shopping at Rustlin’ Rob’s Texas Gourmet Foods
• Pie and relaxation at Fredericksburg Pie Company (see photos in earlier posts)
• Dinner at Malaga Tapas Bar in Austin (Our second time there and just as memorable as the first)
  
• Stocking up on some select grocery items at Whole Foods
• Brunch with Alice at Moonshine Restaurant Patio Bar & Grill (Ridiculously good!)
• Shopping at REI and Book People

I realize most of our excursions are related to food, but you have to understand that we are severely limited in dining options where we live so any jaunt into the city must involve good eats!
