Friendship means having a slumber party and talking/laughing nonstop from 7:30pm to 2:45am, then waking up at 11:30am and going again till 2:30pm. Oh, but it doesn’t stop there! The kicker is when you get home and feel the need to bounce something off of someone and you call the same friend you just spent a ton of time with and ending up talking for another 3 hours on the phone. And I’m seeing her again later this afternoon.

Ridiculous? Maybe. But absolutely necessary, rewarding, and a sign to me that this is a friendship meant to endure.
