I promised Jack we could spend one entire morning geeking out military-style. This meant a trip to the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum. I had been there once before as a child, but going with Jack was like an entire semester’s worth of military history and aero-whatever condensed into a couple of hours. Meanwhile, I was having enough trouble understanding the children’s exhibits explaining how planes fly (I still couldn’t explain it for my life!). It was an educational and interesting morning, but honestly, I’d much prefer the Metropolitan Museum of Art!
